The shielding will not wear out under normal usage and, if you precisely follow the care instructions. However, incorrect care can lower the intensity of the shielding material over time.
Care instructions: Machine wash on ‘delicate’ setting with cold water or hand wash in cold water—Air dry. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
